This saw Adam’s second visit this season to the popular race circuit Donington. Eleven Laps were completed over a three race event for the Cooper Class over the weekend’s racing.
The weather was good for this time of the year with overall cloudy/dry races with Adam running on slicks.
After qualifying in 7th position, the first race of the day saw Davey coming out of a 4 car fight with Norman, Chatt and Attard, and despite a good struggle for position came 9th on the first race.
The second race of the day was the most exciting for Davey, taking 6th position ahead of Neal, Attard and Chatt, running as high a 4th early on in the race before falling back.
A previous oil spillage from an earlier race coming up a hairpin forced drivers off the racing line and proved a tricky time for the Cooper Drivers.
This race leaves Adam overall 9th position in the Cooper Class Championship and 5th position for the Rookies. He is hoping to make to headway up the board at the last race at Snetterton to gain some valuable points and push him up the board.
